Uses a traditional Japanese construction method called "maru-dou (loopwheel)." There are no seams on either sides. A T-shirt with durability and a highly comfortable feel.
■Red tab Feel the unique bounce and resilience of this high-quality fabric. The DUBON red tab is featured on the left shoulder. There is a moderately loose fit around neck. The ribbed neckline serves as an accent when layered under other tops.
■Unique knitting method Our T-shirt fabric is made using a "cozun," a small knitting machine, which is based on Japanese traditional knitting machines from the 1910’s. "Cozun" are used very rarely nowadays and there are very few in the world. The fabric is knitted cylindrically, therefore, there are no seams produced on the sides. This method is called "maru-dou (loopwheel)." We use a middle weighed "14" thread for durability.
The shirts have a "flat seam." This is another traditional Japanese sewing method that results in a smooth and flat surface on the fabric. Our t-shirts are made by Japanese sewing specialists using a special sewing machine with four needles that was used in the 1950 and 1960’s. This creates a beautiful and comfortable T-shirt.
